Last week, on 4th December, I had the distinct honor of being invited by Forbes to virtually attend the 13th Annual Forbes Healthcare Summit in New York, USA. It was a prestigious opportunity to engage with global healthcare leaders tackling the most pressing challenges of our time. Among the many enlightening sessions, one that stood out was the panel discussion titled "Preparing for the Next Pandemic."

Moderated by Alex Knapp, Senior Editor at Forbes, the panel featured three eminent leaders:

- Dr. Tom Inglesby , Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security , and

- Mariana Matus, PhD , Co-Founder & CEO of Biobot Analytics

While H5N1 has yet to demonstrate significant human-to-human transmission, its evolution demands proactive vigilance. Mr. Stéphane Bancel emphasized the role of enhanced surveillance and vaccine readiness in averting a crisis.
