17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

SDG stands for Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals are a set of 17 global goals established by the United Nations in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. These goals address various social, economic, and environmental challenges with the aim of promoting sustainable development worldwide. The SDGs cover a wide range of issues, including poverty, hunger, health, education, gender equality, clean water, sanitation, affordable and clean energy, climate action, and more.

The 17th Sustainable Development Goal is focused on "Partnerships for the Goals." It emphasises the importance of collaboration and cooperation among countries, organisations, and individuals to achieve the other 16 Sustainable Development Goals. SDG 17 recognises that addressing global challenges, such as poverty, inequality, and climate change, requires collective efforts, shared knowledge, and inclusive partnerships across sectors and borders.
