2 - 4 Blythswood Square, Glasgow
Recently, I had the opportunity to work with a new client - McGinlay Bell Architects - on an extensive visualisation project for a commercial property refurbishment in the heart of Glasgow.
Project Aims
The aim of this project was to create images to support in the sales & marketing of the 27,000 sq ft Blythswood Square office space by showcasing the expected results of the refurbishment, which is due to be completed by Q1 2017.
Requirements
The architects required a selection of visual outputs including an exterior montage / entrance interior / reception / office floor plates / toilets & highly detailed interior shots.
Approach & Production
It was a pleasure to work with the excellent materials and textures used on this project.
Throughout, the architect was very open and collaborative - encouraging me to create shots that maximised the visual impact of each view without compromise. I worked on the project over a 6 month period, producing many options and several iterations to be presented to the final client. This review process was smooth as a result of clearly set expectations and a the quick formation of a strong working relationship.
I often comment that my job is easy when the architect has a clear direction, which was certainly the case on this project!
Results
The images I created during this project now sit on the website aimed to showcase the building to potential tenants. They're also throughout the downloadable PDF marketing brochure.
