In the second quarter, the Garnier Thiebaut USA team made significant strides in the hospitality sector by expanding product lines, strengthening partnerships, introducing new sales support tools, and investing in sustainable initiatives. We invite you to read more on the progress made this year, as we look ahead to a strong Q3 finish.
Spotlight: New Dining and Bath Linens
Olympia – 100% Cotton Table Linen, Customizable in Size and Color
Woven from 100% ELS Cotton, Olympia is the latest addition to our French Collection of custom dining styles. Olympia’s designs—Ikaria, Kea, Andros, and Zante—pay homage to the vibrancy and textures of ancient Olympia, host to the first Olympic games. Released just before the Paris Games, these designs—customizable in size and color—embody the profound heritage of our French origins and the timeless spirit of the Olympics.
Jasper, Quartz, and Cliffs – 60/40 Cottonrich Table Linen
Composed of 60% cotton and 40% polyester, Quartz, Jasper, and Cliffs blend elegance with practicality, featuring subtle interwoven textures in neutral tones. These cotton-rich styles combine the softness and absorbency of cotton with the durability and wrinkle resistance of polyester. From the subtle line pattern of the Quartz Zinc napkin to the slight ridges of the Jasper dining linen to the minimalist stripe design of the Cliffs collection, these linens will bring both elegance and practicality to your banquets and in-room dining venues.
Walla and Canal Napkins – 100% Polyester Napkins
The Walla and Canal napkins, recently introduced to the Brooklyn Collection, are made entirely of easy-care, durable polyester. Available in long-lasting colors such as chambray blue and chambray grey, both designs measure 18”x22” and feature a modern take on the classic striped Bistro Napkin, inspired by oceanfront views. They are perfect for any restaurant that desires a classic sense of style in their linens.
Levant – 100% Cotton Bath Terry
Made with zero-twist fine yarns, the 100% cotton Levant bath terry offers a plush, luxurious experience for your guests while optimizing operational efficiency. Its soft texture ensures maximum comfort, and its quick-drying properties make it ideal for efficient laundering, resulting in substantial cost savings. This midweight terry features a 550 GSM and a distinctive dobby border, making it perfect for spas and resort-style bathrooms. Available in stock, it comes in face cloths, hand towels, bath sheets, and bath mats.
Evertreen – More Trees in 2024
In April, Garnier Thiebaut USA announced we expanded our partnership with Evertreen to plant an additional 10,000 trees for global reforestation. With this update, a total of 15,000 trees have been planted in Madagascar and Kenya. These trees will support local wildlife, provide saltwater filtration, offer fruit and economic opportunities for farmers, and protect coastal communities from tsunamis and other weather events. You can also participate by "contributing" trees to Garnier Thiebaut USA’s forest.

Hotel Trends for U.S. in 2024 and 2025
In addition to tracking our progress, the Garnier Thiebaut USA team closely monitors the health and future trends of the hospitality industry. At the 16th Annual Hotel Data Conference, Tourism Economics shared an updated U.S. hotel forecast for 2024 and 2025. The 2024 forecast anticipates slight reductions in average daily rate (ADR) growth, stable revenue per available room (RevPAR), and improvements in occupancy rates. Similar trends are projected for 2025, with continued occupancy growth and steady gains in ADR and RevPAR. The industry faces challenges, including fewer lower-income travelers and exchange rate impacts on international travel. However, moderate travel growth is expected, driven by strong household finances, increased business investment, and lower labor costs, particularly benefiting upper midscale hotel chains. As a linen supplier, Garnier Thiebaut USA is a stakeholder in the success of our hospitality partners, we look forward to closing the year strongly together with service to match your growth.
New Hospitality Catalogs
Also in Q2, GT USA released the newly updated 2024 Table Linen, and Bed & Bath Linen Hospitality Catalogs. We invite you to take a look at our most current selection of premium linens featuring both new releases and classic styles.
