As the year comes to a close, I’m taking a moment to reflect on 2024—a year filled with remarkable achievements, milestones, and exciting growth for the Stonewood Group. This journey has been shaped by innovation, collaboration, and the drive to make a lasting impact.


2024: Our Year of Progress

Here are some highlights from the past year:

🌞 First Solar Farm Completed in Ashburton This project marked a pivotal step in our commitment to renewable energy and sustainability in New Zealand.

🏢 Opened Our Office in Hainan, China Expanding into China’s private equity market has been a significant milestone in our global growth strategy.

🏠 Welcomed Two New Stonewood Homes Franchisees in Queensland We’re thrilled to grow our presence in Australia, bringing quality homes and community-focused values to more regions.

🏗 Commenced Our Largest Hotel Development in Auckland CBD This 320+ room hotel, including New Zealand’s first Radisson, is set to redefine Auckland’s hospitality scene by Q4 2025.


Looking Ahead to 2025

As we gear up for another dynamic year, our plans include:

Trialing Two EV Charging Stations We’ll launch proof-of-concept trials before rolling out a nationwide network, promoting sustainable transport options.

🏨 Completing Our Largest Hotel Development By Q4, we aim to open doors to New Zealand’s first Radisson Hotel, solidifying our role in transforming Auckland’s skyline.

🌞 Launching Our Second Solar Farm Building on our renewable energy momentum, our next project is poised to make an even greater environmental impact.

🏠 Delivering Our First Stonewood Homes in Queensland This milestone will mark the start of a new chapter in expanding our housing footprint in Australia.
