2. Upscale Residential & Lifestyle Hotel
Downtown Kansas City is getting a new development, poised to bring more activity and vibrancy to the area. Once complete, Lux Living's new high rise will offer 300 residential units, a 200-key lifestyle hotel, and retail spaces at its base. Our design for the exterior complements the adjacent Power and Light Building, seamlessly integrating #ArtDeco elements. The result creates a visual narrative of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. 3. Reinvigorating a Century-Old Fire Station
A fusion of history and hospitality, Hotel West & Main is one of Hilton ’s Tapestry Collection's newest properties. Principal and Design Leader Steve Cavanaugh AIA LEED AP , underscores the essence of the guest experience by stating, "The design’s homage to the history of the building and community is at the core of guests’ experience." Hospitality Design magazine covers the adaptive reuse story behind our transformation of the Washington Fire Co. station into a luxury stay in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
4. Finalist in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards
A finalist in Fast Company 's Innovation by Design awards, Semillas y Raices is a development meant to provide a vibrant, welcoming, and flexible environment for multi-generational farmworker families in Visalia, California. "Immigrant farmworkers … often lack economic resources and suffer from linguistic, cultural, and geographical isolation," says Principal and Mixed-Use Design Leader Jose Sanchez , Assoc. AIA, LEED AP BD+C. By addressing this gap, a structure can be put in place for a community to flourish.
