The Ministry of State, Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy, the Ministry of the Economy, the Luxembourg Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) , and Luxinnovation are launching a joint call for 5G research and business projects.
This joint call for projects will take place in two phases. The first phase, between 15 November 2023 and 9 February 2024, will allow interested economic players to submit their projects (summary, planned research, timetable, budgets, etc.). The Ministry of the Economy will co-finance costs borne by Luxembourg-eligible companies up to 700.000 € per project, using the R&D aid scheme.

What outcomes are expected in envisioning Luxembourg’s future connectivity?
"Our Future Workshop will kick-start the ideation process for our audience and the participating students. Not only will this collaborative approach put students in touch with Luxembourg’s telecommunication and science ecosystem, but it will be a launchpad, allowing them to gain access to professional coaching and refine their ideas to prototype-level. We expect to see the birth of 5 prototypes by June 2024"

A call to action was put out by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2012 to raise awareness and engage conservationists on Wildlife Conservation Day, December 4. During the “Wildlife Trafficking and Conservation: A Call to Action” event held at the State Department on November 8th 2012, Secretary Clinton outlined the White House’s strategy to address the global problem of wildlife trafficking. These efforts are estimated to cost between $7 and $10 billion dollars a year.
