3 SIMPLE TIPS F0R STAYING THE COURSE AND PERSEVERING:
We are all familiar with the amazing Persevering life stories of: Michael Jordan, Walt Disney, Elon Musk, Lucille Ball, Abe Lincoln, just to name a few. What about you? Are you able to push through and persevere?
1. Stay focused on your goals: Keep your goals in mind and stay focused on the things that will help you achieve them. Avoid getting sidetracked by minor details or unrelated tasks.
Begin by defining clear and specific goals. Clearly articulate what you want to achieve, whether it's completing a project, reaching a certain milestone, or accomplishing a long-term objective. When your goals are well-defined, it becomes easier to stay focused on them.
2. Celebrate small successes: Celebrate your successes along the way, no matter how small they may seem. This will help you stay motivated and energized as you work towards your bigger goals.
Celebrating with others can amplify the joy and motivation. Share your successes with supportive friends, family, or colleagues who can appreciate your efforts and offer encouragement. Their enthusiasm and validation can fuel your motivation and inspire you to continue working towards your goals.
3. Stay positive: Persevering through tough times requires a positive mindset. Focus on the things that are going well and try to see challenges as opportunities for growth and improvement.
Lead with Positivity: As a leader, lead by example and maintain a positive attitude. Display resilience, optimism, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Your positive demeanor can have a significant impact on the overall team atmosphere.

1yThanks for the recent topics of perserverence and listening. Great insights. The best example of perserverence for me was returning from my post at GM Japan and needing to convince GM HQ officers in Detroit of the strategic need to consolidate all the division engine engineering and manufacturing resources under one structure to be called GM Powertrain. It told several years and I was not alone but I got the ball rolling.
