I have been passionate about conservation for a while now and I often find people that are unaware of the destruction that is happening in our oceans from plastic, climate change and overfishing. Today I will write a few simple ways that anyone can do to help our oceans.
- Educate: For me, the most important first step is to learn and consume educational content, news, media etc to become inspired and aware about the issues.
- Reuse, Reduce, Recycle: Simply reducing your personal consumption of products that end up in the oceans is a great start and if you want to take this further, you can inspire others to do the same, sign petitions about plastic waste and governments etc.
- Using your skills: This may be one of the most impactful out of the 10 because each of us have unique skills that can support the oceans in different ways and working in a career that protects the oceans is a worthy persuit. For example, my passion for the oceans led me to creating a few climate startups and I love storytelling and i’m currently reaching 1 billion people a year through my social media.

3moyour 1 2 3 are sort of ok, but lets look at this in another way, the oceans are the blood vessels of the world, and like our veins it holds the air and the warmth, but the warmth like our blood has to be a certain temperature, so it can convey the air, but man has brought another element, the nuclear plants, we are pumping thousands of gallons of hot water into either cold water, the north sea, or into the Atlantic or pacific, increasing all the waters of this world, causing the artic to melt, thus we are having climate change, the more it changes the worse it will get, stop warming the waters, the wild fires can be controlled, using tech, but all the governments just use the same old methods, scoping water, dropping it on the fire, slow and useless, there is a far better means, same as nuclear power, vortex energy is the key to clean power
