3D printing helps communicate challenges
Århus University recently visited Vestas Aircoil to understand their complex challenges within numerical modelling. In our collaboration with Århus University, through the CP-Sens project, Vestas Aircoil used 3D printed charge air coolers to illustrate the challenges.
Utilizing 3D printed materials serves as a method to visually represent challenges, fostering a tangible and accessible means of communication. This approach facilitates a hands-on understanding, enabling collaborative discussions for effective issue resolution. The cost-effectiveness and versatility of 3D printing make it a valuable tool for illustrating complexities in a methodical manner.
Why this discussion: Vestas aircoil is striving towards implementing digital twins of their charge air coolers for, among others, predictive maintenance and optimisation.
Our close partnership with Århus University is the key to achieving these goals. Stay tuned for more updates as we explore new possibilities together! 👥💡 #Innovation #Collaboration #DigitalTwin #VestasAircoil #ÅrhusUniversity #CPSensProject
