3D Time-of-Flight and Radar Sensors

3D SENSOR SIMPLIFIES FILL LEVEL MONITORING

Did you know that you can accurately measure and monitor the contents of a container or an entire area with just one sensor?

As objects accumulate within a container or over an area, the pile they form will have an unpredictable shape. Single point sensors used in these applications may measure the peaks and valleys, giving inaccurate fill level information.

By combining digital imaging and thousands of height measurement points, Banner's ZMX Series sensor can measure and monitor multiple objects within a three-dimensional area. Just one sensor reliably detects peak height and average fill level to simplify applications that otherwise would require multiple single-point sensors.

RADAR SENSORS FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

Reliable Sensing in Challenging Environments

How do environmental conditions impact your production processes?

Extreme Temperatures, precipitation, dust and dirt, motion, distance, surface shape and reflectivity are all factors that can complicate industrial sensing applications.

Fortunately, radar sensors:

  • Detect objects in extreme conditions where other sensing methods are less effective or unreliable.
  • Are unaffected by wind, rain, snow, sunlight, fog, humidity, dust, and dirt.
  • Work well indoors and outdoors and reliably detect moving and stationary objects.
