4 Fun Date Ideas That Capture a Revenue Managers heart

Welcome to the 19 new subs. Hope you found a cool newsletter to hang out with :-)

Today, we’re mixing business with pleasure—literally. If you’re dating a revenue manager, you know they love efficiency, data, and getting the most value out of everything. So why not plan a date that satisfies their inner strategist while still being tons of fun?

Here are 5 date ideas that even the most analytical revenue manager will adore....and if you are one....treat yourself 😘

The Ultimate Happy Hour Scavenger Hunt

SO this one takes a bit of prep. We know revenue managers appreciate a good deal, and what better way to spend an evening than hunting down the best happy hour in town?

Make it a challenge: leave clues for them to decipher. It's like a pup-crawl based on data :-)

Budget: You set, they gotta beat

Forecast: Amount of drinks consumed

Not only will you enjoy discounted drinks and appetizers, but you’ll also get a kick out of optimizing your evening.

Escape Room: The Strategic Challenge

Nothing gets a revenue manager’s mind racing like a puzzle that needs solving. An escape room is the perfect mix of strategy, teamwork, and adrenaline.

Pick a theme that both of you will enjoy, and watch as your revenue manager’s problem-solving skills kick into high gear. As you work together to beat the clock, you’ll not only bond over the shared challenge but also have a blast putting your analytical skills to the test.

Bonus points: Get a few RM's together in a "couples evening". Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

Travel Adventure

For the adventurous duo, why not try a travel adventure?

Get into the car. Roll two dice:

Combined number: 1-3 North, 4-6, south, 7-9 west, 10-12 east

Combined number x passengers = km distance.

Fun here: Uncertainty between the dice is going to kill them and the relieve once they know where to go will elevate them. Plus, you can chose which dice should be which lol

Good luck on that one!

Online Travel Agency (OTA) Roulette

For the extreme ones under you:

Plan a weekend getaway with a twist—using multiple OTAs to book different parts of your trip.

But here’s the catch: you set one budget for the trip, arrival and departure, destination and then:

One of you books the hotel, and the other books the activities or flights,

All while only highlighting the price of how much you spent BEFORE the other person can book the next part. Bonus: do not give details which hotel, flight etc. was booked.

Love,

Fabi

Love an escape room, me! Assume for OTA roulette you have to at least agree on a destination? 😂 otherwise they better have free cancellation
