40K Milestone! Thank you Fellow Changemakers!

40K Milestone! Thank you Fellow Changemakers!

Hi Changemaker family! We have reached 40,000 subscribers from the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe, thanks to you!

We have come a long way since we began on 25th of May. Only a few newsletters on LinkedIn can achieve this milestone so quickly, and I do not take your support for granted: we did this together! I am not endorsed by LinkedIn in the form of a blue tick, so I do not have an algorithm advantage. So, this milestone was achieved by each one of you who resonated with what I have been sharing.

Why did I begin?

I wrote my Creative Change book and started this newsletter for changemakers who feel alone, misunderstood in their journeys to bring about change. As someone who is involved in changemaking, I understand the struggles but more importantly, to share changemaking solutions that do work as I collaborate with changemakers in business and non-profits all over the world.

I began with the following goals in mind:

1) To tell changemakers that it is possible!

2) To meet other changemakers and connect for impact!

3) To amplify the positive work of changemakers worldwide!

For point 3, if you like me to amplify your work leveraging on my network of 300,000 followers on Linkedin and through this newsletter, tell me about your changemaking project by writing to info@consulus.com

As we head into November, I like to inform you that I will be taking a break from publishing this newsletter for the entire month. I will be away on a personal break for 2 weeks to recharge. However, rest assured that Creative Change will be back in full swing in December. I will be visiting and delivering Creative Change keynotes in Kaohsiung, Taipei, New Delhi, and Zagreb from 5th till 14th December.

Thank you dear family!

Now let us revisit the past editions!

The gist of the past 10 editions

1st Edition: 80 ways of seeing and becoming a Changemaker to shape the world

Gist of it: Laid out the premise for Creative Change for my book and why this newsletter

2nd Edition: An Economy for Peace has to be built together

Gist of it: Shared my personal journey in changemaking through interreligious dialogue and an Economy of Communion.

3rd Edition: One illuminating lesson about Changemakers throughout history

Gist of it: Changemakers are not superhuman, they simply found their cause because they cared more about the issue. In understanding the world around them, they found creative ways to shape it.

4th Edition: Seeing and Being Changemakers Matter in an Age of Hyper-Change

Gist of it: I shared about my discovery at the launch of my book about what changemakers have in common, how they were able to ignite and drive change through what I coined as: 4Cs of Creative Change Cycle

5th Edition: Changemakers who inspired my path in Interreligious Dialogue

Gist of it: I talked about the changemakers who inspired my journey in changemaking in interreligious dialogue.

6th Edition: Changemakers Start Alone until They Find Others

Gist of it: Why changemakers must keep walking, though alone, eventually they will find others who will share the cause

7th Edition: 3 Ways, Changemakers Chase the Impossible Dreams

Gist of it: Changemakers have to accept that they will be misunderstood as they seem to change the impossible dream, but once the motion is set, the impossible will become possible.

8th Edition: The Francis Method for a Changemaking Dialogue

Gist of it: Learning from Pope Francis in how he engages in dialogue for changemaking.

10th Edition: Confronting our Demons To Be the Changemakers We Are Meant To Be

Gist of it: In seeking to impact a better world, we do have to confront our own dark sides, to be aware of them so that we can better ourselves first before we seek to build a better world.

11th Edition: Engineering a Change Movement

Gist of it: Change has to be engineered and the only way to succeed is by looking at the hard truths and make engineered choices. Elon Musk did that and he is on his way to bring about the change he wishes to see.

See you all in December!
