5 Easy Steps In Order To Lose Your First 6-8 Lbs

Losing your first 6-8 pounds is easier than you think.

And before you think it, no, this doesn't involve exercising 6 times a week or eating chicken and broccoli at every meal.

 It just takes a little planning and some effort on your part.

Here’s what I would do…


Clean up your current diet

Cleaning up your current diet will go a long way and it's pretty straightforward. It’s what I do with new clients between weeks 1-3. Cutting back slightly on the “naughty foods” is a great way to massively reduce your calorie intake.


Move 20% more

If you’re doing 5,000 steps a day, for example, aim to do 6,000. If you’re hitting the gym for 30 minutes twice a week, try doing the same number of sessions but for 40 minutes each. The goal here is to burn more calories without leaving you feeling overwhelmed.


Consider a prolonged fast

Fasting for 24 hours has multiple benefits which I’ve talked about before. The main benefit in this scenario is creating a big calorie deficit which will help with fat loss. For full details on how to fast “the right way” check out this video below 👇



Consider HIIT training

High-intensity hit training is a great way to burn body fat. One of the great things about this form of exercise is that it only takes around 15-20 minutes to complete the workout. Great for people who are super busy and short on time. Here's an example of a bodyweight-style workout for you to try.

Ps - You don't need a gym, you can complete it at home.



Consistency

Be consistent with the methods mentioned above and everything will fall into place.
