5 Examples of Bad Money Advice Financial Experts Share (and you follow)

You know what leaves a bad taste in my mouth? Bad financial advice, the kind that comes from personal finance ‘experts’. 🤮

Today I am going to share the 5 common pieces of financial advice that experts say; that is just THAT BAD. 🛑

➡️1. Never use credit cards - There are lots of financial advisors that preach this (one in particular).

➡️2. Stop leasing cars, eating out, and wasting money on conveniences - As a business owner, entrepreneur, and father of four - I know that time = money. Paying for conveniences gives me time to do what I want to do.

➡️3. Always get the 401k match - You know I always advise to go for the tax free money with the Roth IRA first.

➡️4. Never get a tax refund - They make it sound like you are giving up SOOO much interest. Not true.

➡️5. Renting is throwing away money - Paying rent means you could be missing out on some options and you don’t have flexibility.

Which one of these 5 pieces of bad money advice have you gotten you burned? 🔥
