5 Questions To Ask Yourself When Writing Your Résumé
Are you treating your résumé like a marketing document?
If not, then this is one reason why you may not be obtaining job interviews.
I have written and edited 3K+ résumés and the main advice that I give to job seekers is to make sure that they highlight their accomplishments since employers are interested in knowing what they accomplished and not what they did while in their role(s).
Check out some of the questions you can ask yourself that will assist you with creating an accomplishment-based resume!
The questions that you should ask yourself will depend on your former role(s) and the type of role(s) you will be applying for during your job search. The questions that I have provided should assist you with figuring out what questions you should be asking yourself so that you can highlight your key accomplishments within your résumé. You should also ask yourself how you were able to accomplish the task and try to add at least one number to quantify the achievement.
