5 Questions to harness your creative energy

5 Questions to harness your creative energy

I was meeting with a client the other day and we were going over Audre Lorde's Uses of the Erotic: The Erotic as Power.

I go back to this essay of hers time and time again and each time it feels like the first time. Lorde's work is so rich with meaning that there's always something to be gleaned from it; it's always relevant. This most recent time, a few questions came up for me that I want to share with you. Chew on these questions. Mull them over in your interior world until the answers become so clear that you have no choice but to follow them.

Five questions to tap into your uniquely erotic (creative energy; value system) power:

  1. Which of your life's endeavors bring you closest to having a sense of erotic satisfaction?
  2. What is your deepest knowledge that you have to share with the world?
  3. How deep does your capacity for joy run? Do you believe it is possible to feel joy in an utterly erotic way?
  4. How big is the gap between what feels safe and convenient for you and what is in alignment with your erotic power?
  5. What deep cravings are you afraid to say out loud? What “yes” are you afraid of?

If these questions resonate with you, I'm inviting you to join my next group program that kicks off on July 9th.

Flourish is an 8-week, asynchronous, group program specifically designed for folks who want to leave behind the hustle of capitalism and live a more values-aligned life. It's a low-lift, high-touch program. You can learn more and sign up here!
