"No one can be a great leader unless they genuinely care about their team" reflects a widely accepted perspective on leadership. Many experts and researchers argue that effective leadership involves more than just technical skills or formal authority. It requires a genuine concern for the well-being, development, and success of the team members.

Here are a few reasons why caring about the team is often considered essential for effective leadership:

1. Trust and loyalty: When leaders genuinely care about their team members, they build trust and loyalty. Team members are more likely to be committed, engaged, and motivated when they feel valued and supported by their leader.

Couldn't agree more. Brene Brown would agree that if you don't care for or love your team member you shouldn't lead them but should find another leader who does demonstrate this care. People do remember how they make you feel don't they Kinza Tariq?
