5 simple steps to bring order to chaos
Follow these 5 steps to get things done and achieve productivity without stress:
1 Capture:
Capture what attracts your attention, write, photograph, record everything you have in your head, capture 100% of everything that attracts your attention; small, large, personal, professional, everything.
2. Clarify:
Take everything you registered in the first step and ask yourself: Can it be done?
- If not, then I throw it away or save it as a reference in the future.
- If so, decide the next action required, if it will take less than two minutes, do it at the time, if not, delegate it or put it in a to-do list.
3. Organize:
Put things back where they belong, using action reminders in the correct to-do list. For example create lists of categories such as: things to do, calls to make, emails to send, etc.
4. Reflect:
Review your lists as often as necessary to determine what to do next. Make a weekly review in your meeting with yourself to clean and update your lists and clear your mind.
5. Engage:
Just do things, use your regular system to take action on your to-dos.
