7 simple habits to increase your content marketing writing output

By David Geer

Follow these seven steps to increase your content marketing writing output!

1. Keep your fingers glued to the keyboard.

Figuratively speaking.

2. Keep those digits in motion.

Start by free writing, then, steer those keystrokes toward quality as you narrow your focus.

3. Beat writer's block.

Writer's block is a wall of fears, doubts, and hesitations that keeps you from committing your first words to the screen. If you're worried that you'll write something awful, then do it: write something of poor quality on purpose. You can improve on it later. At least you'll be writing.

4. Reserve judgment.

Write fast to generate quantity first, reserving judgment until later. Then, consider your words, and bring your content up a level.

5. Make confidence and kindness your allies.

Don't overcriticize your work, or it will get worse.

6. Think about hiring an assistant.

Let them complete the tasks that distract you so you can dedicate yourself to your craft.

7. Partner with a colleague.

You can share your work and give each other helpful feedback.
