7 Steps to Trigger Money Mindset

7 Steps to Trigger Money Mindset

Wali Khan and Syed Nadeem, ACMA, CFM were lucky.

They both had a money mindset right from an early age. Whereas I was not a money mindset person.

I regret, had I known the power of money mindset at the age of 25, I would be retired by now!

But I was busy in enjoying by spending on stuff that I hardly used, something called "instant gratification".

It was only at 45 when I started realizing the importance of money mindset.

I wish I had learned it earlier in my life.

This newsletter is all about money mindset and how it works.

Wali, Nadeem and I agree that as professionals navigating the challenges of a demanding career, we all already know how critical financial freedom is. But building that freedom is not just about earning more; it’s about learning the frameworks that guide your decisions and actions.

Something that worked for three of us is a set of 7 Secrets:

  1. Clarity is Power: Set specific financial goals, and break them down into manageable targets. Knowing exactly how much you want to earn and why helps your brain focus on achieving it.
  2. Affirmations & Visualization: Create affirmations like, “I am so happy and grateful to be earning $5000 a month,” and visualize the lifestyle it brings. This primes your mind for success.
  3. Value Over Hustle: Wealth follows value. Focus on upskilling in areas that deliver high impact. A side hustle is a great way to experiment with. The more value you provide, the more money you’ll attract.
  4. Overcome Limiting Beliefs: Believing “I am not good with money” holds you back. Shift to “I am in control of my money” and watch your confidence and outcomes grow.
  5. Focus on Earning, Not Just Saving: Saving is essential, but you can’t save your way to wealth. Explore your potential in side gigs, investments, and other opportunities to increase your income.
  6. Track Your Money: Financial stress often comes from not knowing where your money goes. Build a habit of tracking your finances, it’s liberating, not restricting.
  7. Learn the Art of Money Mindset: Learn from those who have made it. Earlier you do it in your life, better it is!

Why This Matters:

My money mindset shapes every financial decision I make. From overcoming fear of failure to confidently negotiating my worth.

Wali, Nadeem and I have curated a four weeks Money Mindset Masterclass for you.

We will teach you techniques that worked for us.

Its a transformation from a scarcity mindset to one of abundance.

Great HAMMAD SIDDIQUI SB. Besides learning ourselves, I also realise, we should teach the same to our younger ones as well... Time ahead is going to be more volatile.
