Before we even attempt to write the storyline of our Business Presentation we need to go through a bit of preparation.
The Ideas on Stage ABC approach allows you to focus on three fundamental aspects: the Audience, the Burning need of your audience and the context.
When it comes to the burning need go deeper. Try and understand what keeps your audience awake at night and address that and only that with few but precise key messages.
Once a top executive manager, told me that he wished people in presentations would tell him what he needed to know.
Nothing more.
In order to do that we need not only to know your audience, but to know what they need.
And sometimes we'll find the real answer hidden behind quite a few layers of obviousness.
