Abundant Supply - October 14

Every Day in His Presence: 365 Devotions" is the primary information source for the content of these daily articles written by Charles F. Stanley in 2014.

"Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing." John 10:10

"Isn't this verse comforting? Not only does Jesus provide eternal life when we accept Him as our Savior, but He also gives us an abundant life here and now---overflowing with every good blessing so we can accomplish all that He has called mus to do."

"In a practical sense, what does this signify? It means if you lose your job, God has an even better opportunity for you. If your source of income changes, He has countless other means for supplying your needs. Just think of the many ways He provided for His people throughout history: manna from heaven (Exodus 16:35), water from a rock (Exodus 17:6), multiplying a boy's simple lunch (Matthew 14:14-21), to name a few. His resources are unlimited. He will not fail you (Habakkuk 3:17-19)."

"Friend, God is the same today as He was in Bible times, and He works through everything that touches your life for your good. Therefore, no matter how dire your circumstances may appear---or how far He stretches the last of your resources---trust Him to supply your needs."

"Lord, thank You for loving me and supplying my needs so abundantly, amen.

"In His presence . . . there are no limits to His provision."

To know Jesus as Lord and Savior: Pray this prayer to be washed in the blood of the Lamb of God, Jesus, and have everlasting life in heaven. “Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Guide my life and help me to do your will. In Your name, amen.

I pray that you will be Washed in His Blood, Follow Him, Walk with Him, Glorify Him, and let Him lead you as you serve Him for eternity because He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life.
