ACHEIVING YOUR DREAMS

TBT - This was taken 9 years ago and seems a life time ago. So much has changed in my life, and there is an important lesson in this missive so read fully until the end. I am a sports car fanatic and always loved the Ferrari after seeing one scream past on the streets of Switzerland as a adolescent young man on a European Family Holiday in the late 70's. The roar of the engine and the attention of the crowd struck something in me that day and I remember saying in my heart I will have one of those when I grow up. Well fast forward 9 years and it became a divorce casualty in 2013 after it being my everyday ride for over 6 years. It has made me think deeply over the past few years, just what did it all mean?

You see I dreamed all my life of being a multi millionaire - ✅

I dreamed of being Married with a Family - ✅

I dreamed of having a home on the water - ✅

I dreamed of owning several businesses - ✅

I dreamed of being in the headlines and being admired - ✅

I dreamed of being a Pilot - ✅

I dreamed of being a philanthropist - ✅

I dreamed of being a adventurer - ✅

I dreamed of being an author - ✅

I dreamed of being an entrepreneur - ✅

Now I achieved all of these so where is the lesson? It is quite simple really my dreams where non specific they were generalized. What if I dreamed of being a successful multimillionaire all my life, happily married forever with a wonderful loving engaged large family, always living on the water in a beautiful paid for home with a dock and access to the ocean, a lifetime of owning highly successful businesses, a constant beacon of inspiration, being a safe and highly skilled pilot all of my life, a respected life time of wonderful philanthropy helping children and veterans, being a bold adventurer seeing all of the wonders of the world with a bold adventure every year all of the years of my life, a best selling author of a dozen or more books each better than the last, a successful entrepreneur creating new and wonderful businesses and opportunities that are highly fulfilling and profitable each and every year of my life.

My dreams were fulfilled as what you think you can you can. In retrospect my dreams lack specificity and duration so I got what I went after yet everything I dreamed of, spoke into my heart of, and created vision boards and plans for was obtaining vs sustaining, successful, fulfillment, and longevity. Hmmmmmmmm!
