ACMP Incorporates “Belonging” into its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement and Organization
Washington, DC - During Change San Diego 2024, “Leading Change in a Changing World” conference, ACMP unveiled its strategic decision to incorporate “Belonging” into its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion organizational commitment.
ACMP recognizes belonging as a fundamental aspect of inclusivity and is committed to providing a space where individuals feel valued and are an integral part of the global change management community.
“The inclusion of belonging is not just a response to societal shifts, but also a proactive step towards meeting the evolving needs of ACMP's members and communities while fostering a thriving change community,” said Stefanie Sancho, executive board member and chair of ACMP’s diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) committee.
With the addition of belonging, ACMP puts an emphasis on diverse environments that are open, inclusive, and safe, and conducive to collaborative excellence. This deliberate focus builds upon ACMP’s foundational code of ethics and Standard for Change Management.
“Our evolved DEIB statement guides our ongoing journey to establish a more inclusive community. This evolution reinforces ACMP's standing as a leader in change management with DEIB at the core of our values and behaviors,” said Deshini Newman, Chief Executive Officer, ACMP.
