Adapt your EVP or Die
This is something worth paying attention to. I recently came across this ‘human deal’ framework and started paying attention because it speaks to the human centric; approach that workplaces are beginning to adopt, rethinking their EVP.
A human-centric approach aims to provides employees with more autonomy over their workload, schedule and environment, ultimately making them more satisfied and more productive.
However, most of the time it requires complete transformation in the approach of most employers, completely shattering out-dated policies, strategies and ‘rulebooks’, and for new ones to be written around the leadership, culture and even technology available within a business.
This human-deal framework allows employers to speak to the elements and emotions of employees that really matter, increasing employee satisfaction by 15%, increasing productivity, retention and reducing (dare I say it?) recruitment budgets.
