COVID-19 Recovery: The Boost Community and WHO Fellowship

The Boost Community and WHO’s COVID-19 Recovery for Routine Immunization Programs Fellowship recently completed Phase I of the program, with over 1,600 English and French-speaking registrants. More than 330 strategic proposals from 50 different countries were submitted for consideration to move onto Phase II. Sixty Fellows will move on to Phase II of the Fellowship and receive mentorship from immunization experts as they implement their immunization programs in their local settings. Sabin Champions participate in 2023 Shot at Life Summit

The Shot at Life 2023 summit, convened by the UN Foundation, brought together public health professionals focused on immunization on September 29, 2023. Participants, including four Sabin Immunization Advocate Champions, shared their stories about the state of global vaccination, highlighting the challenges faced in their efforts to deliver vaccines to millions of children during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
