Here is the November edition of our Agency Life blog, taking you behind the scenes of our work and life at brandformula. November saw the team getting into the Christmas spirit, creating new TikTok’s, and supporting an event with easyJet! Explore how we engage, inspire, and thrive...
🌟 Engage
It's that time of the year when some of the biggest brands go head-to-head in producing their unique take on a Christmas advert. From John Lewis to Michael Bublé in the Asda advert, find out which ad we think is bringing the most cheer this year.
Along with our monthly Agency Life newsletter, our Creative Services Director has published the first edition of the Throwback Thursday newsletter. This newsletter delves into the archives and revisits projects we have delivered for clients in recent years. We hope you find it as interesting as we did working on it! Read the November edition here.
The Digital Team put together a brandformula version of the TikTok trend, ‘This or That’. Do you prefer a hot office or a cold office? Or do you prefer to work from home or in the office? Check out the answers from the team here.
Rob Hughes, our Business Development Director attended the Insurance Insider London Market Conference on 21st -22nd November.
Rob shared that “it was a great opportunity to catch up with clients and prospects, particularly as several of our clients were sponsoring and speaking at the event.
Discussions covered many interesting topics including the increasing use of AI in insurance, the ‘volatility of pricing and coverage’, and Dame Sue Langley discussed the merits for a ‘London Monte Carlo’ event. I’m not sure if you could lure or even fit the super-yachts into St Katherines Dock, but swapping champagne for beer may make it more cost-effective!”
💡Inspire
International Men’s Day was in November. To support this, we donated to 2 charities.
Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) offers life-saving services, provokes national conversation, and brings people together to reject living miserably. Every week, 125 people in the UK take their own lives. CALM exists to change this. The Dads4Kids Fatherhood Foundation is the driving force behind International Men's Day and works to promote positive male role models across the globe. The theme this year is focused on zero male suicide.
Did you know that 70% of B2B buyers consume at least three pieces of educational content produced by a vendor before they engage with sales representatives? Craig Freeman, our Chief Growth Officer, discusses how to turn your site into a vital b2b marketing asset through ongoing optimisation with a strategic mindset in our latest insight blog.

🚀 Thrive
The team supported a client reception for easyJet that took place at Aloft Excel after the London Travel Market Exhibition. We assisted them in branding the event and organised the branded cut out palm trees, floor decals, flower arrangements, a podium for a speech, and the lightbox banners.
From the 30th October – 2nd November, Rob also attended the 19th Singapore International Reinsurance Conference. Rob enjoyed catching up with clients and friends from across the Asia Pacific region, picking up the following key themes running through the event. Read Rob’s key takeaways from the event here.
As Christmas is fast approaching, brandformula have started to add a hint of Christmas spirit into our working days. Just around the corner to our office is Spitalfields Market where they had their annual light switch on. The team joined in with the festivities with a mince pie and some mulled wine!
We’ve also turned our office into a Christmas Grotto! On the 23rd of November, the Social Committee organised our office Christmas decorating evening. The teams' stockings were filled with chocolate, the trees were put up and decorated, along with many lights covering the whole office since Gracie bought 2 meters worth! Check out our TikTok for the full decorating process.
And there you have it – a glimpse into life at brandformula. Stay tuned for monthly updates…
