AHK in Morocco Welcomes new president:

Fostering German-Moroccan economic relations

We are proud to announce that The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK) in Morocco, has announced the appointment of Mehdi El Boury as its new President.

As the representative of Bosch in Casablanca, Morocco and Financial Officer for the sub-region North Africa. In addition to his responsibilities at Bosch Africa, Mehdi will be directing projects to enhance economic ties between Germany and Morocco. His responsibilities include promoting trade between the countries, as well as facilitating partnerships and representing the Chamber's interests with key stakeholders.

Furthermore his role involves chairing Steering Committee meetings as well as ensuring adherence to the Chamber's strategic direction. He will also be working closely with the committee to advance a thriving business environment.

By having Mehdi as the figurehead and president of AHK in Morocco, his leadership is welcomed with the aim to leverage the Chamber’s established reputation and function as the premier focal contact point for key market queries regarding Germany and Morocco.

Overall, this will enhance and further mutually beneficial economic growth and increase opportunities for collaboration. Having been established in 1997, the AHK has been pivotal in supporting and expanding the business network between Germany and Morocco.

Under Mehdi’s leadership, guidance, and rich knowledge of both the Moroccan and German economies; the Chamber is set to continue this trajectory. With Mehdi at the helm of an ever-increasing network, leveraging its extensive membership base and the successes of its members to drive forward both economies.
