Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) - Analysis Work?

WARNING! You will not be replaced by AI, you will be so much more productive and add more value to your team if you learn to use it appropriately!

Generative AI (tools like ChatGPT) is making a big splash, and the rate of adoption is incredible! Are we ready as analysis professionals to leverage the power of AI in our work?

We need to be! Just like "search" has been integrated into everything, generative AI will be as well! This means:

• Our daily tasks will change, at work and at home
• System integrations will incorporate it (internal and external facing systems)
• Our stakeholders will be using it to solve problems and change business processes, and we can help them make good use of it!

But, just like search, we still need to THINK! We still need to understand how to leverage it, and how to filter and validate what we are getting back from it.

We still need our tried and true analysis mindset, skills, and techniques to do our work well!
