AI in Sports
Last week, the International Olympic Committee launched their Olympic AI Agenda to ensure fairness and integrity in the use of AI in Olympic sports training and competition. They made a very big deal about its announcement through a 90 minute presentation in London to a core group of stakeholders and the media. I am impressed by the thoughtfulness they have put into this agenda to design an open governance model that is flexible in its adoption of AI in the Olympics.
I believe every sport should follow suit, and I have written about this in my new book, AI in Sports, which you can find on Amazon Kindle or in my Mission and Ministries app. Feel free to acquire the version you appreciate most. Kindle is great for giving access to more people, but if you want to engage in a community that is enthusiastic about AI and sports, you may wish to join the community we are launching around this subject within our Mighty community.
Within the book, I outline the uses of AI in all aspects of sports, from training and recruiting to betting and fan engagement.
I also talk about how we are using AI specifically within the sport of pickleball via Picklezone and others. The World Pickleball Conference and Tournament will be in Las Vegas this year, the first week of June. I will be speaking on AI in Pickleball and one of the major points to be discussed is that we follow the IOC's lead and create a working group. As a matter of fact, if you join the AI in Sports community here you can also be a founding member of the AI in Pickleball Working Group.

Please note that through the community app, all payments are made through our 501(c)3 non-profit organization (not so on Kindle)!
No matter the version, I would appreciate your thoughts, opinions, and reviews on the subject.
