AI's Data Diet: Is It Running Out of Bytes?
A recent study by MIT's Data Provenance Initiative has revealed a significant decline in the availability of content for the datasets used to develop artificial intelligence. Widespread data restrictions are creating new challenges for A.I. companies, which require a continuous influx of high-quality data to maintain their models' accuracy and relevance.
Question of the week: In today’s day in age, with AI being a corporate imperative, how does your organization plan to address the issue of declining data availability?
(Add your comments to the post!) For Radicle Science, it’s about developing alternative data sources. We invest in AI in creating new datasets, such as our crowd-sourced data collection on dietary supplement consumer experiences. In fact, Radicle Science has conducted clinical trials on more than 55,000 Americans since 2021. This is more than all the pharmaceutical FDA drug approval trials combined.
