Alan Garner in The Hangover🕶️
When you think of The Hangover movies, one character makes you laugh the hardest: Alan Garner, played by Zach Galifianakis.
Alan is Doug's weird brother-in-law who tagged along for the bachelor party and never left the group.
Alan is so funny because he acts weird and doesn't understand how to behave properly around others. He'll say pretty much anything inappropriate without being embarrassed, like talking about masturbation.
But Alan is more than just a character who is funny by acting crazy. He represents not caring about consequences and simply enjoying adventures as they happen.
When the guys wake up with no memory after a wild night, Alan is just curious to figure out what happened rather than freaking out.
"Classic!" he says when they find the gangster Mr. Chow in their trashed hotel room.
Alan's immature personality can drive his friends up the wall, but it also allows him to fully accept life's craziness with a childlike joy they can't manage.

Alan may act like an overgrown kid lacking social skills, but his humor comes from not taking life too seriously and fully accepting whatever crazy situations happen.
He reminds us to accept the unexpected adventures that adulthood doesn't always allow. That's why the wolfpack loves having Alan around, no matter how ridiculous he gets.
