Alignment

Today is November 8th, 2022. In the early morning hours, there was a total lunar eclipse, often called a Blood Red Moon.

According to NASA, “Some of the sunlight passing through Earth’s atmosphere reaches the Moon’s surface, lighting it dimly. Colors with shorter wavelengths - the blues and violets - scatter more easily than colors with longer wavelengths, like red and orange. Because these longer wavelengths make it through Earth’s atmosphere, and the shorter [ones] have scattered away, the Moon appears orangish or reddish during a lunar eclipse.”

You might be thinking, have I subscribed to the wrong newsletter… what does this have to do with me or my career?

Everything.

The Moon rotates on its axis and revolves around the Earth as the Earth revolves around the Sun. For a total lunar eclipse to happen, there has to be perfect alignment.

I’m not suggesting you have to be perfect in your career path or hinting that there is some type of perfection we can achieve in our career journeys.

But imagine yourself as one of the colors of the sun. Are you a “red and orange” or a “blue and violet?”

Each of us has light within that is needed to impact people, communities, environments, and the state of the world. Are we fading out too early? Or are we continuing to shine bright?

In the last two years, there was an incredible shift for people to become aligned to where they are supposed to be for such a time as this. If you have felt an inner tug towards a career change, do not ignore that anymore.

Career alignment is critical so you don’t miss the timing of destiny assignments.

Good one! My wife and I got up early to see it but not early enough, darn it. But thanks for the picture. And nice point about career alignment.

I went for my 5am walk in hopes of seeing the blood moon and no such luck in Southeastern Wisconsin - we had cloud cover! As my husband reminded me, at least I got a nice walk in. But still grimacing over no visible moon in the western sky....

I love how you have used this example, Michelle. Once you understand what it means to work and live in alignment with how you function best it really is a game changer.
