💰 All I want for Christmas is a $65,000 bonus

Despite the holidays being less than two weeks away, the small business world has no intention of slowing down.

It’s been a big one this week from monster funding rounds for the likes of Quantum Brilliance, Terria, and Fleet Space, to the Teals challenging the ATO and Treasury to provide more support to SMEs.

But the real winners of December have been the employees of AirTrunk. As Mrinaal reported earlier in the week, the data centre specialist has handed out $65,000 bonuses for hundreds of its employees.

I expect this news will result in the company receiving an influx of unsolicited resumes in the new year.

On the Auspol beat, the new (and much stricter) National Innovation Visa, and  January 1 changes to SME rules and regulations have also been dominating our news cycle.
