A couple of weeks ago, LinkedIn published a report on the Top AI skills in Asia, which highlights machine learning, AI, deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) as some of the top AI skills in demand across the region. This report was published at the back of the newly launched Artificial Intelligence Index Report 2023.
A few highlights from the AI Index Report include:
Meanwhile, according to a report published late last year by McKinsey & Company, business adoption of AI has more than doubled over the last five years. Areas like computer vision, natural language generation and robotic process automation (RPA) were among the more popular domains. As we move ahead in 2023, we are already seeing AI to be an area that will continue to evolve, with its adoption accelerating with various use cases across industries.
What does this mean for you? As technologies like AI, machine learning, RPA and NLP continue to evolve, it’s important to stay curious and constantly up to date on developments of these emerging technologies.
This month, we are collaborating with Databricks this month to run a session on The Future of Open AI for Individuals and Professionals for our community in Singapore. We will expect you to research and implement search engine optimization recommendations and link building strategy. If you have experience as an SEO specialist, we would like to hear from you.
Lead for Cross-Community Collaboration in Singapore/SEA:
As lead for Cross-Community Manager, you will be driving collaboration between SLD and communities like Women in Fintech, Coding girls, Google Dev community, CDAO, CIO Forum, etc. You need to be an excellent communicator, creative, proactive, self-driven and diligent in reaching and driving joint initiatives in known and new communities. If you have worked in a similar role, we woud like to hear from you.
Operations Specialists:
As operations specialist, you will be leading and creating zoom, eventbrite and other administrative event set up for She Loves Data. This would include coordinating with marketing team for graphics, setting up events on website and on social media. The operations specialists will ensure support for events such as moderators, facilitators and speakers are in place and will provide training to new volunteers when setting up events. The role will also entail keeping a repository of documents,videos, event templates and training materials. If you are detail oriented, hands on and proactive in supporting SLD events from the back-end, we would like to hear from you.
Project/Programme Manager:
As a Project or Programme Manager for our Signature Programmes, you will be responsible for course content management, hands-on coordination of our programmes and related events globally or for specific countries. This would include pre-and post-programme evaluation, management of the programme and will be working with volunteers to help develop and update content and quality of SLD programmes. If you have background in course development, are proactive and have experience in develop programmes on data and technology topics, we would like to hear from you.
Community Managers:
As an online community manager, you will be responsible for managing our online communities and platforms. This will include developing and executing engagement activities, community codes of conduct, creation and auditing of platform channels and content. If you have background in slack community management or have experience in managing and driving community engagement online, we would like to hear from you.
