Alliance Française Dubai, 40 years later!

Since 1982, Alliance Française Dubai has prospered and carried out its missions prodigiously. We have always taken our missions to heart while going through different phases! Any new stages were considered an opportunity to renew our organisation, challenge ourselves, and remain the best ambassadors of the French language & francophone cultures.

1.    A successful digital transformation 

Alliance Française took the digital turn. The covid-19 crisis came as an opportunity for our team, who always looks at how we can go the extra mile. The associated lockdowns & physical distancing have dramatically altered our operations, all the more in the Education sector. The team quickly adjusted and seized the opportunity to undertake innovative measures in the strategy. The team, the students & the community were all ready to learn a new skill set, partake & be receptive to new practices.

Accordingly, we revamped the organisation’s visual identity (credit goes to Noémie Levain and Achille Mareel), and a new website sprang up to better guide our visitors. Everyone was rallied & worked hard to update & redesign the website for more intuitive & streamlined navigation. Our sincere appreciation goes to Grow Digital Services for their expertise in web development & to Bérengère Roux for her strong support in this quest for digital information.

2.    Powerful & thriving community-building

We introduced a new social network content & modernised our tools to provide excellent service & experience. As part of this strategy, we created a targeted content series when social media underwent high-level engagements. This was accompanied by a volume increase of relevant & timely publications on our social media accounts to stay united with our community. We have even multiplied our online presence to reach a wider audience, as with the renowned corporate social media “LinkedIn”.

Alliance Française Dubai has never failed in its tasks by contributing to teaching the French language and cultures. This would not have occurred without our diligent and voluntary staff,  passionate and dedicated management committee, and competent teachers and partners.
