Allovus: Pivoting, Problem-solving, & Progress—2024 in Review
If we had to choose one word to define 2024, it would be “Pivot.” This year, we leaned into change, tackled big challenges, and embraced new opportunities to grow and support our creative community. That’s who we are—a team of problem solvers and design professionals who are always moving, shaking, and evolving with the times.
Here’s a look at this year’s achievements:
Navigating AI with our community
The rise of AI is changing how we work, and instead of sitting on the sidelines, we dove in headfirst. We explored how AI tools can enhance everything from design and prototyping to research and project management. Even better, we shared what we learned for free, creating roadmaps to help our network navigate this new world.
In a recent article by the United States Artificial Intelligence Institute (USAII), Florian Weiss highlighted Allovus for our exceptional work:
“A great overview, evaluation, and comparison of AI-enhanced software tools for designers and design researchers was done by Allovus.”
We love sharing what we know, and this year we focused on practical advice for UX/UI design, prototyping, research, and more. Our roadmaps are designed to give creative pros the insights they need to stay ahead of the curve using AI tools.

Exploring Service Design
This year, we dipped our toes into Service Design, a field that brings people, processes, and technology together to create seamless, user-centered experiences. Stay tuned to learn more about our journey into Service Design. We can’t wait to dig even deeper in 2025.
Launching Studio Lite
Sometimes less really is more. We introduced Studio Lite this year—a scaled-down, flexible version of our full-service studio model. It’s designed to meet the moment, giving businesses the design talent they need without overcomplicating the process. And the response? Amazing.

Leadership and storytelling
Our Studio team has become experts at storytelling—and our honed leadership skills have helped guide both our clients and our talented team to create successful outcomes for each project we take on. Stay tuned for our Leadership and Storytelling Roadmap—coming soon!
Government work
This year, we were thrilled to take on some Government contracts and landed some great projects. Every project tells a story, and we’ve been excited to help clients like Sound Transit and the University of Washington share theirs. From digital communication to strategic initiatives, we’re helping organizations make their voices heard in meaningful ways. We’ll share sneak peeks of the work we’ve done in upcoming weeks.
Working smarter, not harder
Behind the scenes, we’ve been simplifying our systems, integrating AI tools, and streamlining workflows to focus on what matters most: delivering incredible results for our clients. It’s all about finding smarter, better ways to do the work we love.
Looking ahead
2024 has been a year of growth and grit. We’ve pivoted when we needed to, stayed curious, and leaned into every opportunity. And we’re just getting started.
To everyone in our community—our team, clients, and creative partners—thank you for being part of the Allovus story. We can’t wait to see what we create together in 2025.
