Allstate Quartz tile, in it for the long haul
Allstate Molded Quartz tile is the original quartz tile. Since 1986 , Allstate MQT has withstood the test of time. MQT contains 70% natural quartz sand. Quartz is #4 on the Mohs hardness scale, below Diamonds and Topaz. The above photo was taken the other day of an installation at a grocery store in Vermont. Installed in 1990 yet it looks almost new, talk about a long life cycle. Due to the molding manufacturing process and our PUR finish it never needs waxing, making the ownership cost extremely low. Great for K12, corporate, BioTech, labs, healthcare, & retail.

6moIs this type of flooring suitable for a non-climate-controlled application? When we build our house, we poured a cement floor for a future enclosed patio/sunroom and intended to use radiant heat (ran pipes in the cement), but my hubby didn't realize he needed to insulate it, or else we'd be heating the ground too), so we've never used the radiant heat...; we've since enclosed it as a patio/sunroom, but since it has a cement floor, we're told our flooring choices are limited as it's a non-climate-controlled application...so seeing this lovely floor makes me wonder if this might work for our patio. Can it tolerate cold NYS winters? Does it expand in hot/humid NY summers? It looks like it could be easily maintained... any idea if it could be placed on a cement floor like we've got? It looks so glamorous, like some of the dance floors on old Hollywood movies, like Fred & Ginger have danced on! It would really glamorize my sunroom, that's for sure!!! ❤️
