Amazing Women Recognized at Women's Leadership and Policy Summit
March is Women’s History Month. On March 23, more than 1,000 attendees will gather at San Jose State University for the Women’s Leadership and Policy Summit.
At the summit, we will recognize some of the extraordinary women of our community with awards in multiple categories, including Collaboration, Compassionate Leader, Equity & Inclusion Champion, Luminaries, Unsung (S)hero, and Women’s Champion. Among the women we recognized in 2023 were former Supervisor Blanca Alvarado, Superior Court Judge Julia Alloggiamento, and Maitri co-founder Roma Majumdar.
We received 250 nominations this year. This shows how many amazing women we have in our community doing work for the betterment of us all. Thank you to everyone who made a nomination!
