Amy Cannon: My Journey to Totalmobile

I’m Amy Cannon , and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as the new Account Director at Totalmobile. It’s been an incredible journey getting here, with lots of personal and professional growth along the way. I’d love to share a little about my background, why I was drawn to Totalmobile, and what I’m excited to bring to this new role.


A Career Built on Sales Excellence

I started my career in recruitment before moving into SaaS sales back in 2014. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a range of companies—from scale-ups to large enterprises. . During that time, I’ve developed skills across business development midmarket sales, enterprise sales, and sales enablement, working for the likes of Dynatrace and DataRobot.

These roles shaped how I approach sales and customer relationships today.

At DataRobot, I was introduced to the MEDDICC sales playbook, which honestly was a game-changer for me. It gave me the structure and discipline to manage complex sales processes while consistently hitting and exceeding targets. Looking back, I’m proud to say I’ve earned several honours including President’s Club, MEDDICC Master and Most Net New Customers EMEA.


Why Totalmobile?

When the opportunity at Totalmobile came along, I just knew it was the perfect next step. I was immediately drawn to the company’s award-winning platform and the chance to be part of the Commercial & Infrastructure vertical, which is expanding rapidly.

What excites me the most is how much opportunity there is to not only grow my career but also help drive meaningful industry transformation.


From the moment I started meeting the team, I could feel the company’s commitment to sales excellence and the strong support from leadership. It was clear that I’d be surrounded by people who are talented and driven—exactly the kind of environment that pushes me to achieve even more.

What really sealed the deal for me is Totalmobile’s customer-centric culture, where everything we do revolves around delivering real value.

My Vision for the Future

As I settle into my new role, my goal is to build strong, lasting relationships with our clients and help them see the full impact of what Totalmobile can deliver.

I’m excited to contribute to the growth of the Commercial & Infrastructure vertical, leveraging our innovative solutions and working alongside a fantastic team.

In the short term, I’m focused on ramping up quickly, building momentum, and contributing to the team's growth. But in the long run, I’m also eager to explore leadership opportunities and help shape the future of Totalmobile’s sales organisation.


A Little About Me

Outside of work, my partner Will and I spend a lot of time fostering rescue dogs from Cyprus. It’s definitely a challenge, but it’s one of the most rewarding things we do—helping nervous or displaced dogs adjust to a new life and eventually find their forever homes. Every dog is unique, and it’s amazing to watch them transform - our dog, Roxie, also helps them through this process!

Over the last few months, I've been training for Carsington Water half marathon to raise funds for one of the Cyprus rescues we support - it's certainly kept me busy! And just a fun fact—back in 2016, Will and I took an overland journey from the UK to Thailand in our Land Rover Defender, covering 22,000 miles in 7 months across 16 countries. It was an adventure of a lifetime, and I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.
