Annotations in AdapTable

AdapTable 18 - the latest version of the market-leading AG Grid extension from AdapTable Tools - includes Annotations.

This was the most frequently requested feature from our growing user base and comes in 2 forms: Notes and Comments.

Notes

Notes are individual annotations attached to Grid Cells designed for personal use. They are stored with the User's State (and not with the underlying data source).

Comments

Comments are also annotations attached to Grid Cells but designed with collaboration in mind.

All members of the team are able to see Comments provided by their colleagues, and add their own contributions to the Comment Thread.

Other Features in AdapTable 18

As well as Annotations, AdapTable 18 contains contains a wealth of new, client-requested features, that allow our users to visualise, edit, style and now annotate their data in powerful and exciting ways.

Row Summaries

Row Summaries are special, pinned rows, that can be displayed at the top and bottom of the Grid.

They can contain a huge range of Aggregations - both those shipped by AdapTable and custom Aggregations provided by developers.

Transposition

AG Grid can now be transposed - so that rows and columns are dynamically reversed (see this video).

Sparkline Column Style

A new sparkline column style allows cells to be rendered as Sparkline Columns.

Like the other Styled Columns available in AdapTable (Badges, Percent Bars and Gradients), Sparkline Columns can be created with just a few clicks.

Interop Plugin

AdapTable provides full support for interop io connect (both desktop and browser versions) via a new plugin.

This includes seamless interoperability via FDC3, and enables AdapTable's Notifications and Alerts to be displayed in interop's Notification Centre (similar to what we provide in our OpenFin plugin).
