Architecture Books that influenced me
Just saw a great post by Brian Cunningham Associate Director at HDR discussing a book that had influenced him right form his architecture school days - you know before the internet and pinterest! Well it got me searching for my copy - I found it and that made me thing about some of the other great books that had influenced me and that form part of my library
- Leaves of Iron - by Philip Drew - the work of Australia's only Pritzker Prize winner - Glenn Murcutt
- Many Masks - by Brendan Gill - the extraordinary work and life of Frank Lloyd Wright
- A Singular Vision - by Helen O'Neill - the work of Harry Seidler
Like architecture and life this list is a work in progress and I will be adding to it over the net few weeks.
Would love to hear from other architects - What architecture books influenced you, and why?
