Arctech Emerges as the Sole Company Among Top 5 Solar Tracker Suppliers to Achieve Double-digit Growth with a YoY Growth Rate of 131%

In July, Wood Mackenzie released the global Solar PV tracker market share report 2024 and Arctech emerged as the only company among the global Top 5 solar tracker suppliers to achieve an impressive annual growth rate of 131%. This remarkable success can be attributed to Arctech's forward-thinking strategies in globalization and localization, which include establishing local manufacturing bases in India and the Middle East to support regional solar projects and beyond.

In terms of market share, Arctech holds the No. 1 position in India with an impressive share of 45%, significantly surpassing other suppliers. Additionally, it has captured a substantial market share of 21% in the Middle East region with a portfolio exceeding 10GW. Meanwhile, Arctech has maintained its position as the top solar tracker supplier in APAC for years and secured a market share of 36% in 2023. Its dominance extends to burgeoning Central Asian markets such as Uzbekistan.

Arctech Secures over 6.7GW of New Solar Projects in India in the First Half of 2024

In July, Arctech is delighted to announce that we have successfully secured over 6.7GW of new solar project contracts in the Indian market thus far in 2024. Being the top 1 solar tracker supplier in the Indian solar market, Arctech has amassed a remarkable portfolio exceeding 10GW within this region. Under the guidance of Ms. Gail Chen, CEO of Arctech India and Director/CEO of Jash Energy Private Limited (Arctech JV factory in India), our exceptional Arctech India team has garnered high recognition and satisfaction from local clients.

Arctech Acquires Over 3.4GW of Solar Projects in the Middle East Region in the First Half of 2024

In July, Arctech is proud to announce the successful acquisition of over 3.4GW of solar projects in the Middle East region in the first half of 2024, further solidifying its position as the leading supplier of solar trackers in this area.

Since entering the MEA market in 2017, Arctech has amassed a portfolio exceeding 5GW with numerous significant solar plants. To better cater to local clients, the company has established a dedicated team comprising sales representatives, solution experts, project managers, after-sales personnel, and logistics professionals. Two local offices have also been set up in Dubai, UAE, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In May, an agreement was signed with Saudi Arabia's MODON for leasing land to construct Arctech's factory spanning approximately 97,000 square meters in Jeddah.

In July, Arctech released its annual ESG report, showcasing advancements in our sustainability, social impact, and governance practices for 2023. Our achievements are outlined as follows:

Arctech’s 1GW Solar Project in Uzbekistan Connected to the Grid Successfully

In July, Arctech announced the successful grid connection of its 1GW solar project in Uzbekistan. This groundbreaking initiative, comprising two sub-projects of 500MW each in Bukhara Province and Qashqadaryo Region, adopts Arctech’s signature solar tracking system SkyWings, the world’s first dual-row solar tracker equipped with the multi-point drive mechanism.

Once operational, this project is expected to generate approximately 2.4 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, offsetting carbon dioxide emissions by 2.4 million tons per year and conserving 520 million cubic meters of natural gas. 


Arctech Announce the Inauguration of CEME 1, Chile’s Largest Solar Plant in Which it Participated

In July, Chile’s largest solar power plant, CEME 1, was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by national authorities and key energy sector stakeholders. The 480 MW solar plant spans approximately 435 hectares, equivalent to 370 football fields, and incorporates Arctech's state-of-the-art fixed-tilt structures.

Arctech Shares Update of Its 500MW Solar Project in Oman

 In July, Arctech presented the latest updates on the Manah 1 project in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, Oman. The 500MW project incorporates Arctech's renowned solar tracking system SkyLine II and is projected to commence commercial operations in Q1 2025.

Once operational, Manah-1 is expected to provide green renewable electricity to over 50,000 Omani households and offset more than 700,000 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide annually.


Arctech Shares the Successful Progress of La Villa Solar Project in Panama

In July, the EPC Renergeia Group shared the progress of a 13.52 MW solar project undertaken in La Villa de los Santos, Panama.
