RVPs can leverage trust building principles to build stronger relationships with financial advisors and drive premium submissions.

RVP's must create a safe and supportive environment for growth. In the context of insurance sales, this means fostering a relationship where financial advisors feel comfortable sharing their challenges, aspirations, and concerns. By creating such an environment, RVPs can become trusted advisors who can provide guidance and support.

One key coaching principle is active listening. When RVPs truly listen to financial advisors, without interrupting or judging, they demonstrate empathy and understanding. This can help build trust and rapport. Additionally, active listening allows RVPs to identify underlying needs and concerns that may not be immediately apparent.

For example,instead of asking, "Are you interested in our new product?" an RVP could ask, "If you could wave a magic wand and solve one of your biggest challenges with high-net-worth clients, what would it be?"

Furthermore, coaching involves providing feedback and support. RVPs can offer constructive feedback on financial advisors' performance, while also providing encouragement and support as they work towards their goals. This can help financial advisors stay motivated and focused.

By applying these trust building principles, RVPs can transform their interactions with financial advisors from transactional to transformational. Instead of simply selling products, they can become trusted partners who help financial advisors achieve their goals. This not only leads to increased premium submissions but also builds lasting relationships that can benefit both parties.
