1yI'm passionate about analytics and the use of tech in HR and have run many courses on versions of this topic. I think that Yumi deserves wider publicity for what her team is trying to achieve. The broader question is why doesn't HR embrace analytics already? The landscape is changing but when I started in HR (many years ago), it was a common stagement from both HR professionals and people looking to join the function that they "didn't do numbers". Being a 'people person' and being into numbers is not contradictory (I would argue that they are actually complementary), so how did we get to that position? Maybe we should insist that all aspiring HR professionals do a statistics course before qualifying? #HR #hrcareers #hrcommunity #cipd #coaching
