Cessna 207 Crash in Jalisco Leaves Seven Dead

A Cessna 207 aircraft with registration XB-MLO crashed on December 22, 2024, in a remote forested area near El Montoso, between Santa María del Oro and Quitupan, Jalisco, Mexico, killing all seven onboard. The plane had departed from La Parota, Michoacán, and was conducting a local flight when it suddenly lost control, crashed, and ignited a fire that destroyed the aircraft and caused a wildfire in the vicinity.
