ATTR-CM Annual Meeting

ATTR-CM Annual Meeting

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting the first hybrid ASB-HUB ATTR-CM meeting in the picturesque town of Brela, Croatia. This event brought together 150 leading experts from 17 Eastern European countries, as well as key experts from Italy, Greece, and Austria.

The discussions centered around the issue of highly underdiagnosed patients suffering from transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR-CM). Emphasis was placed on the critical importance of early detection and timely treatment, which can significantly alter the course of a patient’s condition, enhancing survival rates and overall quality of life.

The meeting concluded with a powerful message: Open your eyes and open your mind. It is imperative that we rethink our approach to ATTR-CM to ensure that patients are identified earlier for better care and management.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Anja Silic and Mirjana Mirić Horvatić for their outstanding organization, and as well to the entire Adriatic RD Commercial and Medical Team for their excellent collaboration and support.
