Zoom, and away....

Zoom, and away....

Ah, the classic Zoom meeting: you join with the best intentions, fully committed, ready to contribute like a model team player. But then... ten minutes in, you lose focus. Suddenly, everyone else is discussing some obscure policy detail, and you’re staring at your own reflection, wondering if your eyebrows have always been that uneven. You shift your eyes to the gallery view, only to notice one of your fellow zoomers nodding so intensely that it’s basically a workout. Before you know it, you’re completely out of the loop, and now you’re left trying to piece things together like a detective in a crime novel.

Losing focus is all too easy, especially without a clear agenda. But a short, simple agenda sent out before the meeting? Now, that’s a lifesaver. It’s like a GPS for your Zoom meeting brain—no more taking wrong turns or wondering how on earth you got to “Update on Supply Chain Strategy” from “Team Social Plans.” When you have the agenda in front of you, you know what’s coming, you’re less likely to drift off into your own little world, and, best of all, you can mentally check off topics as they go by. No eyebrow-gazing needed!

So, next time you’re invited to a meeting, kindly nudge whoever’s running it for a short agenda. Trust me, your focus will thank you.
