• Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL now offers zero-ETL integration with Amazon Redshift, enabling near real-time analytics by seamlessly transferring transactional data from Aurora to Redshift without the need for complex ETL pipelines on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• AWS Cloud Quest and AWS Jam offer hands-on, gamified learning experiences, allowing users to build real-world cloud skills by solving practical challenges in simulated environments, making cloud learning more interactive and engaging via Tarush Gupta on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Amazon EKS has released optimized Amazon Linux 2023 accelerated AMIs, supporting NVIDIA GPUs and AWS Neuron devices, to enhance machine learning and high-performance computing workloads on EKS clusters via Jesse Butler, Byant Biggs and Apoorva Kulkarni on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Amazon Bedrock Agents now offers Conversational Builder, allowing users to build agents through a chat interface by giving natural language instructions, simplifying and speeding up the agent creation process via Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Amazon S3 now allows filtering by AWS Region and bucket name prefixes in the ListBuckets API, helping users more easily identify and manage buckets across multiple Regions by narrowing down the results returned from API requests on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Secure SSH access to EC2 instances using AWS Session Manager provides a more secure, auditable, and firewall-independent way to connect, eliminating the need to open inbound ports or manage SSH keys manually via Hamza Ali on Medium

• Amazon is investing over $500 million to develop small modular reactors (SMRs) as part of its efforts to meet growing energy demands with sustainable, nuclear-powered cloud data centers, positioning itself at the forefront of clean energy innovation via Diana Olick on CNBC
• AWS CISO Chris Betz calls for greater industry collaboration to strengthen security in the multi-cloud era, emphasizing the need for shared efforts to combat common cybersecurity threats across different cloud platforms via George Fitzmaurice on ITPro
• AWS CEO Matt Garman has defended the company's strict return-to-office policy, stating that employees who are unwilling to comply with the five-day in-office requirement are free to leave, emphasizing the importance of face-to-face collaboration for innovation via Greg Bensinger on Reuters
